Blackie's Story...
My name is “Blackie”. I know this looks like a “mug shot” but I’m really not a bad kitty. I am 10 years old. I recently had all my teeth pulled except my 4 canines but I love dry food. My brother & sister & I were born to a feral cat that decided maybe these humans were OK so she let them hold us & play with us from the time we were only days old. I am very loving towards humans & other cats & I love to be petted. I have been neutered & treated with Revolution. I have never been outside. If you can find it in your heart to make me a member of your home, please email my Mommy at or call 513-260-3969.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackie, a Milford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Milford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
