My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAX is a 4 month old black male Lab who weighs 39 pounds. He is a sweetheart , full of energy and wants to play, play, play then crashes. He loves to be out in the yard, playing with other dogs. Thinks getting his belly rubbed is great and if you do it for a couple of minutes will fall asleep in your lap. Lived with a 5 year old girl, good with other dog, lived with a blood hound. Good with cats, lived with one. Knows come, sit, eat, down (off) no bite, kisses, potty. When you tell him potty goes to the door then goes to ne area of the yard does his business then comes back to the door. Crate Trained, 75% house trained. Max is approved for kids ages 5+. More info soon!!!

Max Story -- Max is an Owner Give Up. Owners got Max from a breeder to be trained as a service dog for husband who has MS. He was given up as he has a big overbite and may need orthodontic work when he is older. Owners has a 6 year old daughter, wife works full time and husband has MS. They cannot afford the vet care Max may need and want him to have a good home. They contacted the breeder they got Max, he told them he would refund their money and take him back but didn't have a place for him and asked if they could contact a rescue to take him. They contacted us to see if we could help
Owner told me I want "Maxi Magoo" (daughters name for Max) to go to a loving home with someone to give him the care and love deserves!
