Ellie's Story...
Ellie is a 7-8 month old (as of 3-27-15) female lab/boxer mix. She is very sweet, loves to snuggle and gets along with all dogs, kids and adults. She had little socialization in her prior home, but warms up to anyone and everyone very quickly. Ellie is housebroken and is currently being foster with three larger dogs, with two of the three being females. She is also crate trained but does prefer to sleep on a dog bed or in bed with her owners at night. She can fit any household and will be a great addition to her now family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Ridgecrest Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ridgecrest, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Ridgecrest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgecrest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgecrest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgecrest paves the way for another one to be saved.
