Sweet Pea's Story...
If you would like to meet Sweet Pea, contact her foster mom, Eileen, at 858.271.0198 or emmundt@san.rr.com

Sweet Pea is a spayed brown and white Terrier mix who is 7 years old and who weighs 16 pounds. She is good with other dogs and likes people, too, although she is initially shy upon meeting them. She appears to be house trained, and she just wants to belong to someone. This little girl will dance for treats on her hind legs, and she just beams when you say her name.

She is happy for any attention and would be a great friend to an adult looking for a loving companion, but she would be fine with older kids, and a daily walk would be something she would enjoy.

To meet Sweet Pea, contact Eileen at 858.271.0198 or emmundt@san.rr.com. Sweet Pea is being fostered in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a Vista Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
