My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scarlett is a 4 yr old red female, who just retired from a moderate race career.
She is not small dog or cat tolerant. She will be available soon.

I'm Scarlett, named after a really pretty movie star. I could never be a movie star. I prefer to stay out of the limelight and live a quiet life. I guess I'm a bit of an introvert.

I won't come running up to you or jump on you, but if you take the time to get to know me, I'll be a great companion. I think I'd like to live with a quiet family and maybe someone who is a homebody like me. We can just spend time together, and maybe go for a nice walk every day. If that sounds good to you, fill out an online application thingy and come visit me.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Scarlett is reserved. She will need to be with at least one other dog. She loves to lay her head in your lap and when you stop petting her, she will look at you and wag her tail. She is a talker, she gives little kisses, she loves treats and needs some confidence.
