LUCY's Story...
Lucy is a very sweet little girl, beagles are the best! She sits when asked and true to her breed, she is a talker. She had a cherry eye that the vet repaired when she was spayed. Lucy arrived at the shelter as a stray on 3/23/15 and no one ever came to look for her. She is now spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm tested negative and will be microchipped when adopted. Her ID is 573301, she is in cage 800, Lucy is 2 years old and weighs 23 lbs. If a beagle is what you have always wanted, then Lucy is the girl for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCY, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
