Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB January 20, 2013
Ella is a very special girl who needs a forever family who will wait a bit of time until this beauty feels comfortable enough for cuddles. It won’t take long, a few weeks maybe, but she has been through a lot and needs to find someone who will give her the stability and love she deserves.
Ella will come to sit beside you on the coach or follow you from room to room, but she does not like being picked up. She is always gentle but she makes it clear that she wants to socialize on her terms.
Ella was rescued with her two kittens from a hoarding situation, by a Toronto Cat Rescue volunteer. Both her boys have now been adopted!
Although she was very affectionate with her kittens, suggesting she might be good with other animals once she is comfortable, Ella did not like the other resident cats in the foster home much and she only tolerated the resident dogs.
Ella would do well with quiet older children and adults who respect that she is shy at first. Once she is comfortable, she loves a good pat and is companionable without being in your face. She really enjoys a cuddle on her terms, and will purr quietly.
