Jax just got to his foster home. He's a very happy go lucky boy with a healthy sense of curiosity about his new yard and home.
Jax is a friendly and happy 5yr old BC/Setter mix. He's lived with kids, cats and other dogs without any problems. Jax is used to being with humans and in his previous home had run of the house all day. We're told he slept on his owner's bed or a dog bed when she was gone. He is a great hiking or running partner and is good on and off leash. Squirrels and rabbits really interest him so he'll need to work on bonding and recall with his new owner until off leash play can happen.
Jax hasn't been crated since he was a pup so he's re-acclimating to time in a crate; he's not bad in a crate just whines initially. Jax likes car rides and is always up for an adventure, but also doesn't mind time at home with his human. He's friendly and polite when meeting new people. Despite just getting here and settling in, from the information we have on him and meeting him it is evident Jax is a nice, balanced dog. He's not overly exuberant, but also not too shy or lacking confidence. Jax also is balanced in not minding chilling out with his people yet also enjoys field trips and being active. He loves to run and has great endurance!
