My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper first arrived at Friendship about a year ago. He was adopted and was with the same owner the entire time. She recently returned him saying he was too attached to her and always under foot. Piper is a super friendly and affectionate fellow. He would absolutely love a nice home where someone would be devoted to him. Piper would be a fantastic companion pet or fit right in with any family. Would someone please give this sweet 8 year old black lab a home? He recently represented Friendship at a local nursing home and visited with the seniors. They all loved him and Piper was very well behaved. You too will love this sweet senior.

Piper just returned from training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. He has had extensive training in basic obedience and commands, manners, house training and proper leash walking. He is an absolutely wonderful dog and would make a terrific companion pet.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.
