My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches is a 2-3 year old Tibetan terrier/Wheaten terrier mix. She weighs 22 lbs. Peaches is housetrained, crate trained, and sleeps well through the night. She has come a long way. She was fearful of other dogs at first and afraid of going out at night but she's made great progress and is now much more settled down and independent. She is very sensitive and is fearful of men in the home but will come around if they approach her on her terms. She is not aggressive, and she loves her toys but is not particularly food motivated. Peaches still has puppy-like behavior and will chew, even chewing through tethers when there is a person nearby. She follows her person around very closely. Peaches plays a little rough and for that reason we do not recommend her for a home with small kids, although she is fine with bigger ones. She is learning SIT. When she is comfortable she is a gentle, sweet, shy, trusting, calm dog. She needs a patient owner who will help her gain confidence and settle down around other dogs and men She would make a great hiking companion.
