Chili's Story...
My name is Chili and I am the sweetest little 6 year old Chihuahua you will ever meet. My foster mom
says I am a very low maintenance dog. I am not destructive, I don’t bark a lot. I don’t require a lot of
exercise. Best of all I am completely house and kennel trained.
I get along with other dogs and cats but I really like people. I would love to snuggle with you. My
favorite activity is to sit on a lap and watch whatever you want on TV. I will follow you all over because I
am interested in everything you do. I come running when you call me and get used to routines very
I would like a home with a lap to sit on. The more laps the better. If there are children, they have to
understand my delicate physique because I am a little guy at just 5.6 pounds.
I am ready for my forever home.
Chili is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped and recently had a dental.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chili, a Lisbon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Lisbon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lisbon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lisbon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lisbon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lisbon paves the way for another one to be saved.
