Facts about Sparky

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: CP-CRAH
  • Hair: Short
Sparky was given to the vet office when he had recurring urinary infections. The owners wanted him put to sleep versus dealing with his issue. Of course the vets at Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital would not agree to put him down and had the owner sign Sparky over to them.

He will need to be on special food so that he does not have urinary issues in the future. Canned food is the best for a urinary issue cat because it has a lot more water in it than dry food.

Sparky has a sweet, loving laid back disposition. He would like a home of his own in the worst way. If you would like to meet him contact Clayton Road Animal Hospital at 636-394-7501If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email Information about the rescue and adoption process can also be found at along with a full listing of our adoptable pets.

About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
