My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SIDNEY is a 3 month old intact yellow female Lab.who weighs 12 pounds. Her mom, London, is a yellow lab that was feral and was caught by the shelter before she gave birth to 10 puppies. The daddy was believed to be a purebred black male that lived on the property she hung around. Mom and puppies went to their foster home within days. Sydney is healthy, has been dewormed , and has had her first round of vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. She needs to go to an experienced adopter so she will be trained properly Sydney is approved for kids ages 7+..

Raising a puppy can be very rewarding but also very demanding pursuit. Puppy adopters need to ensure that the puppy:
- Has a potty/social interaction break every three or four hours until 6 months old to ensure house training success.
- Goes to a formal training program when the puppy is six months old in addition to in-home training efforts.
- Gets plenty of daily play time and walks.
- Has regular interaction with kids, adults and other dogs to ensure positive socialization.
- Gets the vaccinations IAW the Lab Rescue Puppy Protocol and other care as recommended by their vet.
- Is spayed/neutered as required by six months of age.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
