Meet Cammie! She’s an 8 year old, Husky/Shepherd mix girl who came into rescue from a sad hoarding situation in rural Tennessee. In spite of spending most of her life in such a place, where food was not plentiful and individual attention could not have been common, Cammie is a very joyful dog and loves everyone she meets. She probably should weigh about 50 lbs but has overcompensated just a bit since being in foster care. She is now in foster care in NE and working on a proper diet and exercise and she is coming along. Cammie is always happy and doesn’t let anything get her down. She loves the comfort of a cozy house and is always game to go outside and be it the yard with her people. She gets along great with other dogs and greets every new person like a long time friend. She is very cute at feeding time as she dances and hops in circles while her meal is being prepared. Cammie is a quiet girl with a happy and playful spirit, a constant companion that loves to stay nearby and get her share of affection but is never demanding. She doesn’t ask for much and is eternally grateful for everything she is given. If you can find a special place in your home and heart for this special, easy going girl, please let us know.
