Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wesley is a 5 y/o male who was found as a stray and was taken to a local shelter but was not claimed. This handsome boy was skinny, dirty, heart worm positive and in need of a safe place to stay during his recovery. He really deserved a better life than what he had been living, so our group just had to save him. Wesley is now a healthy 29 pounds and stands at 15+ inches tall.
As Wesley has recovered from his former neglect, he has learned the pleasure of being a member of a pack. He now enjoys a good romp in the yard with his foster brother and the joy of a comfortable chair to curl up on! You can see the happiness in this boy’s face when he is playing with his buddy! His favorite thing is to go on a walk, the longer the better for this guy! He is excellent on leash when walking and rarely pulls to follow the scent as so many beagles do.
Wesley is a quiet, gentle boy who needs a loving family. It would be great if he could have a canine playmate to spend his days with, but all that he really needs is a kind, gentle owner who loves to take nice long walks! He will be your loyal companion in return.
