Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Francine is a 2 yr. old, 10 lb terrier mix. She has the most beautiful amber colored eyes. She is calm, quiet, sweet and loving and housebroken. She is timid when faced with new experiences (like the elevator) and new people but she does settle down. She is fearful of strangers, kids and is skittish around men and other dogs. . For this reason, we do recommend that she be an only dog. She can be happy, playful, very affectionate but right now this sweet girl is also experiencing a little stress at being in a new home. She has been having nightmares and can wake up still growling and agitated from her dreams. For this reason, and because of her general timidity, we do not recommend her for a home with small children. Her foster is working with her to redirect her anxious energy away from more inappropriate behaviors such as humping or excessive licking. Her foster mom describes her as sweet, easy going, mellow and cuddly Francine needs a patient owner who will help her settle down and lose her fears.
