My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 5/30/14 Jack Smith is a proper name for this handsome boy! Jack weighs about 15 pounds and that will probably be his adult weight. The perfect size for your lap and to go for rides in the car! Jack is a social fellow that loves to play and he gets along great with the other puppies. He's up to date on his medical, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative. Unfortunately, Jack Smith had a home, but his people were much older and couldn't keep up with him, so they surrendered him. Poor little fellow needs a new home that can keep him forever. Don't forget that name - Jack Smith! Jack Smith!!

The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.

Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
