Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pedro is a 1-1.5 yr. old Chihuahua mix who came from the shelter with his best friend, Cooper. He is housetrained. He is not a barker but has some mild aggression with other dogs; he is fine if they pass him in the street but will growl if they get into his space. He is not fearful of anything else. Pedro is gentle, shy at first but warms up quickly, easy going and affectionate. He doesn’t like the leash but will settle down once it's on. He is shy with men (not aggressive) but not with women. He’s a snuggler and loves his belly rubbed. Pedro is now settled down in foster care and is starting to show some confidence and excitement and play with toys. He can be a little nervous with small kids at first but should be fine with older ones. He is also nervous around other dogs and may growl if they come at him too fast. He never snaps or bites, though. If he continues to increase in confidence some of these small issues may naturally disappear. He will make a wonderful companion as he loves to follow you around but is not super clingy.
