Gerry's Story...
You can visit with Gerry at the Adoption Center inside the Petsmart in Foothill Ranch, CA.

Gerry is a handsome 1 yr. old black/white cat. He was rescued from a high kill shelter. He previously had an eye infection that left some scar tissue in his right eye but don't let that deter you from meeting Gerry. He can still see out of it and it doesn't bother him. Gerry is very friendly, affectionate and enjoys getting your attention. Gerry gets along well with other cats so a home with another kitty playmate would be okay. Please come and meet Gerry and give him a chance to win you over.

Forever Home Cat Rescue holds Adoption Events every Sat/Sun from 12-3:00pm at the Petsmart in Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch; Rancho Santa Margarita. To meet one of our available cats/kittens please call 949-829-0036.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gerry, a Foothill Ranch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
