My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Lola! I am 2 years old. I've been in foster care with a great foster family for four weeks. When I came to LL Dog Rescue, I wasn't sure how I was supposed to react in my new family. For the past year and a half, I lived in a small kennel in a garage because I got too big for my family, and I knocked over their small child. It wasn't my fault because I hadn't been taught basic manners, but my owner wasn't having any of it. As a result, I spent day after day, week after week, month after month in a kennel. Over the past four weeks, I've learned basic manners and I have experienced the joy of playing with squeak toys! I can't believe everything that I've missed out on! Due to my size and excitement with life, I would like to go to a forever family that understands the boxer breed, has a large fenced in yard, and will continue with obedience training. After 3 weeks in my foster home, I have learned to get along with the other two dogs in my home. I'm not opposed to living with other dogs, but I'd like my new owner to be patient with introductions and to not rush me in getting along with others. As for cats, I'm not fond of them at all! I would prefer a home without the crazy little creatures!

Are you the perfect forever home for me? Oh, I should also mention that I'm kennel trained! I walk great on a leash with a harness! I have not had any accidents in my foster home! And did I mention that I love toys?!?! If you are interested in learning more about me and my personality, please complete an application at lldogrescue.org

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Even if it isn't me, there are LOTS of dogs in rescues and shelters looking for their forever homes!
