Mango's Info...

Mango's Story...
I was a long time mascot at a no-kill shelter. On March 25th the shelter's board members unexpectedly fired all the staff. They were going to put down all us mascots (3 cats and 3 dogs). The staff members were not going to stand by and watch innocent animals get put to sleep. We were like thier own pets. The staff took as many animals they could with them. They are now working out of foster care to continue to do what they have always done (rescue animals). I was going to live with one of the staff members but her present cat dosn't like me. I am very sweet. I lived with cats and dogs both and was around many differnt people each day. I would make a great mascot for a store or business. Pleas help me find a home soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Farmington Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
