Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IAN is a 2 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 48 pounds. Ian is a super sweet boy but needs a little time to get to know you first. He came to us as a stray that ended up in the shelter. He was emaciated (32 lbs) and dragging a chain when found and leery to trust anyone, understandably. He has since gained about 16-18 lbs and is starting to see that life can be good. He loves other dogs and wants to play so bad. He loves to be pet and loved once he gets to know you. He does have a habit of "talking" to you by baying or barking like he is trying to tell you something - we have not figured his language yet but are working on it! We are watching him blossom daily. He can be a little head shy at times, poor thing. Ian is easy on leash and is a good rider, although he likes to "talk" from time to time when riding. He has nice house manners and is house trained. He is good with other dogs. At this point, approved only for over 16 or adult household would be best for him. He is approved for kids 16+.
Update (4/2): Ian is having fun playing with all the dogs at his foster. He is learning to trust people and is really a very very sweet guy. He warms up quickly and just likes to hang out with you. He has wonderful house manners and knows some basic commands. This boy is really coming out of his shell, putting on weight and learning to enjoy life
