Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Woof, woof! My name is Dante and I am a 9 week old, male beagle-mix puppy. My mom, Miss Dubois, was rescued in January from an overcrowded home in West Virginia. My siblings and I were born in a foster home almost a week after our mom arrived in NJ. My mom is a 17 lb. beagle mix, but I don’t know anything about my dad. I weigh almost 6 lbs. now and will probably be a smaller-sized boy when I am full grown.
I love my foster parents and have enjoyed living in their home rent-free for the last 9 weeks, but now it is time for me to start searching for my own home, especially since 2 of my sisters already met their new families. This is what my foster mom wants you to know about me, “Dante was born on 1-28-15 and raised with five siblings. He grew up with 2 cats and 2 dogs (not including his mom) and has played with kids and adults of all ages. He is very comfortable with being handled and doesn't mind if you touch his paws, ears, and face. Dante is an energetic and happy pup who loves to run & play! He will run with you all over the house, play tug-of-war, and ‘hunt’ treats if you hide them for him. He has a ‘chill’ side, too. I held him a lot as a pup, so if you pick him up, he will nuzzle up to you and snuggle close.”
Dante has been introduced to washable pee mats, but will need some help with housetraining. He will also need to learn the rules in his new home. He will be at Petsmart on Saturday from 11-3 pm.
