Tres's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Tres's Story...
Tres needs an adopter or rescue that is familiar with Bully breeds. She was abused by her previous owner and has some issues with people that she does not know. She had her back right leg amputated on July 1st, due to lack of medical care after being hit by a car when she was still a young puppy. She does well once she gets to know you but does a lot of growling and sometimes snapping. We have two young, 8 month old, large mixes at the shelter that she gets along with just fine. She does not care for small breed dogs and I'm not sure about other females except for her sister which we also have at the shelter. She has been with us since February and really needs to get out of the shelter. Her adoption fee has been dropped to $120.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tres, a Cripple Creek Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Cripple Creek, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Cripple Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cripple Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cripple Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cripple Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
