Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB February 14, 2002.
Homer is so relaxed and easy-going--nothing seems to rattle him! He likes being petted and purrs easily, but doesn't insist on having your attention; he's happy to just curl up on the sofa next to you so you can stroke his ears or back occasionally.
He gets along really well with other cats--mostly, he does his thing and doesn't bother with them, even when they're hissing or acting aggressively toward him. His foster parent has never heard him hiss or growl at all, even when faced with an aggressive cat.
Homer has gorgeous polka dot markings on his ears (see pictures) and a creaky, high-pitched purr that makes sure you know when he's feeling happy (which is very often!). He's usually sitting in the window watching for his foster parent to get home from work, and always makes a point to greet her when she comes in the door. He's such a friendly, lovey boy.
Homer is a lovely, confident cat. He made himself at home right from the first day, ignoring the resident cat's hissing as if he didn't even notice it. He makes a point of greeting everyone who visits but he's not needy or demanding--he's always happy for whatever attention you can give him. He'll make a great addition to a home with other cats but he's just as comfortable doing his own thing.
Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice appreciated, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
