My name is Cole and I am over five years old.  I came to the rescue after I waited at a humane trap for eighteen hours for someone to come back and get me.  Don’t get me wrong I wasn’t in the trap I just laid beside it an waited and it was worth it!

I was very thin and had some nasty things called heartworms when I got here.  The vet treated me and I am all better. Then I found out I had thyroid cancer!  They removed a mass and I am going through treatment, can you love me anyway?  I have been vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and I gained ten pounds.

I love everyone and don’t have a mean bone in my body.  I will sit beside you and I want to do whatever you want me to, I love you already.  Please don’t raise your voice to me because it scares me.  I promise to be gentle with you if you can promise me the same.

In June 2015 I graduated from the prison dog training program.  I am housetrained, know basic obedience, how to walk on a leash and run an agility course plus I know a trick or two.

My adoption fee is 150.00 so quick, fill out the adoption application for me, Cole.

About Dogs As Family, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

After years of experience volunteering with other rescues I have chosen to have a small rescue that I can directly help unwanted dogs. There are so many mixed breeds that need homes I am not breed specific. I try to stop and pick up the strays or unwanted dogs no matter what there condition is and rehabilitate those that need it and completely vet everyone, then rehome no matter how long that takes. Everything I do is for the dogs because I beleive there is a home for them if you are just patient and take the time to work with each dog.
