Jackson-Adopted!'s Story...
A little bit about Jackson,
He's very alert and active. He loves to play with the other dogs at his foster home including an older mutt, two young adult German Shepherds and a small ShihTzu/Chihuahua mix. He gets along with all of them.He loves to be outside. He knows how to "sit" and "shake". He also loves to cuddle. If you let him, he'll jump up on your lap and watch TV with you. We don't know how he is with cats. The youngest child is 10 and he does very well with her. No problem with any accidents in the house - he's trained to do his business outside. He doesn't jump up on people. He likes to play with dog toys - ropes, balls etc. There have been no signs of fence-jumping, digging or chewing up the furniture or anything destructive. He is a bit skiddish to quick movements and loud noises so a home with older kids would be best. He's a good boy and deserves to be loved.
Birth date 4/2/13

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson-Adopted!, a Detroit Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
