Lulu is between 1-2 years old and can not wait to find her forever home. She is a great little girl who is wonderful with kids and cats. Gets along with all other dogs too. Lulu is a little shy at first but warms up to you fast. She weighs only about 5 lbs and will make the best little family companion. Her foster mom has this to say about her: "Lulu is a very cuddly and playful pup. She gets along with everyone she meets and enjoys the company of other dogs. If you want to play, she'll play; if you want to relax, she is right there with you. She is quiet, I have only heard her bark a handful of times. She is housebroken and crate trained. If you are looking for a well-rounded pup, she's your girl."
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT Friday, May 1st from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, May 2nd CPR will be with North Shore for their Tour for Life at Petland in Southbury, CT from 11am-4pm. Lastly, CPR will be with North Shore and Straykatz at Petland in Southbury, CT on Sunday, May 3rd from 11am-3pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the APPLICATION will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
