My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHERMAN is a one year old bundle of love with remarkable manners! He sits by the door when he needs to go potty. He knows not to get on furniture. He walks nicely on a leash (and really enjoys his walks), rides well in the car, and knows basic commands. SHERMAN loves to be loved and never grows tired of giving or affection. He is fantastic with other dogs. He is interested in the kitty cat at his foster home, but that is improving every day. He is an extremely trainable dog. He aims to please at all times. His forever family will be extremely luck to land this handsome prince!

SHERMAN is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes an interstate health certificate transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our new England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
