My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Michelangelo...the artist...well, he came to us with this name, but we call him Mikey and he is more like a lovable clown! Mikey is a high energy 3 year old Lab to Leash retiree who would love an active family! Mikey is an exuberant beagle who absolutely needs another young, active dog to play with his forever home. A fenced in yard would he helpful as well! While Mikey has not one aggressive bone in his body, his exuberance often results in jumping which we think will become an issue with young/small children. Children over 12 and an experienced beagle home would be ideal for Mikey! Mikey desperately wants to please, and will do amazing with adopters committed to training and working with him. Mikey lives with several other dogs and loves everyone. He is a bit too excitable around cats to have that be a good match. He has not met a person he does not like yet. He loves to give kisses and spend time with you. Mikey does beautifully in his crate, is cratetrained, and will need continued work on his housetraining.
