NEKO's Story...
Hi, my name is Neko and my birthday is 10/24/14. The people who have my Black Lab mom decided they did not want to take care of me anymore. They called my foster mom and asked her to come and get me. I was nervous at first until I found out my foster mom likes to pet and rub me, and receive and give kisses. I like toys and I am well behaved in a crate. I am an excellent walker on leash. I really, really like treats. I am still a puppy and I like to run and play but I am not hyper. I also like splashing in a kiddy pool. I just need a loving forever home. Very young babies scare me but older children I am fine with. I like to play with other dogs as long as they do not try and eat with me. I tend to be a bit selfish with my food. I have a soft beautiful black brindle coat that you will love running your fingers over. I weigh around 40 lbs. I will make you a very happy companion. P.S. I am learning house training. HHS. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NEKO, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
