Hi my name is Spot. My birthday is January 5, 2014 so I am a little over a year old. I am a Terrier/Beagle mix boy, weighing about 27 lbs. If you look at my face and my intensely beautiful eyes, it’s as if you can see into my curious and needy soul. I have always wanted a place in life but after a year I seem to be still floating in limbo. I was pulled from a kill shelter as a puppy and for this past year I have been in a nice foster place but still not out presented for adoption. I have struggled to just feel secure and stay hopeful. Now I have these great pictures and Critter Cavalry has offered to help me find a family who will make me feel that I belong and be loved. Of course, I am a shy boy and crave love and attention. Because of this shaky start to my life it naturally takes me awhile to trust people. Once I know you are my friend and like me, I melt into a mound of mush and I am so happy. I love other dogs and give play bows to let others know that I want to be their friend. I have no aggressions in life just a few hesitations and fears that I won’t be loved. Recently I have surprised my foster mom a few times when I jumped up in her bed and just wanted to be loved on. There is such potential for me, but I need my own home and my own family to make me feel secure. I absolutely love treats and being outdoors running around.
