My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JACKSON is always happy and smiling! He is an absolutely striking one year old boy. JACKSON loves all people and other dogs. He also thoroughly enjoys car rides. He is pretty much thrilled to go anywhere anytime. JACKSON loves to play with other pups, but his energy level is moderate. After a little playtime, JACKSON trots off to sunbathe or take a nap. He is extremely cuddly and will happily be a 45-50 lb lap dog. He is interested in cats at first, but if they go up on a perch he loses interest quickly. If you have felines in the home, we are happy to introduce him to kitties additional to the 3 he has met so far. JACKSON is excellent about not pottying in the house or his crate, This boy is a gem. He is the total package for a family dog!!!

JACKSON is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes an interstate health certificate and transport to the MIdwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
