My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB July 12, 2014.

Nibs is a sweet, bright-eyed young man who will surely win you over as soon as you meet him. He was rescued as a kitten from a rural barn as part of a feral spay/neuter project. It was quickly discovered, however, that he had a lot of love to give and was not feral at all.

He is a quiet cat, but is also very laid back and he instantly gets along with other cats he meets. He is also very playful and loves to sprawl out and nap. He's a pretty well-rounded young man!

Nibs would be best in a home without young children, as he is very enthusiastic with his love and that sometimes translates into him becoming over stimulated and giving little "love nips" - hence his name! He never hurts anyone, though, and wouldn't dare try to! He needs a patient, calm owner who can continue to help him unlearn this behaviour.

Nibs is also FIV+. Many people immediately turn away from a cat when they learn that, but we're hoping you'll hear him out. Despite his FIV status, Nibs is happy and healthy. Most cats with FIV live normal, healthy lives when provided with a healthy diet and regular veterinary care (as any cat should). You can read more about it here: http://bestfriends.org/feline-immunodeficiency-virus.aspx

Nibs is a super loving guy and we know you'll fall in love when you meet him. Call TCR today to arrange a meet and greet!
