Please consider or share Cleopatra. She has been an orphan at our rescue for at least 3 years and deserves a family and place to finally call home.

Cleopatra is loyal, smart and eager to please. At our adoption events, she likes to sit on your lap, be cradled in your arms or hang in her papoose. She goes to explore but always comes back to check up on her foster. She is a true companion dog and looking for her forever best friend!

She was almost adopted but due to the adopter’s deteriorating health, she couldn’t keep her. They were both heart broken. But Cleopatra told us that she is ready to love again. She bonds easily and is very grateful to her humans. Cleopatra is fun, funky and sassy. She’s the kind of gal that can hang with the little and big dogs.

Cleopatra is approximately 4 years old, a min pin / chihuahua mix. Great with dogs, cats and people. To adopt please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website, LAAR.ORG. Go to the page titled "Adoption Process" for the application.

Our adoption process includes an application, home check, adoption contract and adoption fee.

We do not "sell" animals. We re-home animals and we ask for a donation to be made to our organization to help cover some of the costs we incur when we take on an animal. Quite often the animals are not in the best of health so they are immediately taken to the vet and given whatever medical attention is necessary. *The adoption fee for dogs is $300-500 and for cats/kittens is $175.
