My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Elsa. I was rescued from a Philadelphia shelter. I heard it was a very close call for me, and the volunteers got there just in time to save me. I am not sure what all of that means, but I am happy to be out!

I was in pretty rough shape when I came from the shelter. I had some wounds from being a stray and was very underweight. My wounds are all healed up now, and I am up to 34 pounds!

I was heartworm positive, but the rescue is treating me for that. I will be all better soon! I was on Doxycycline and Prednisone for the first part of the treatment and just had my first heartworm treatment injection on 3/23. I was down the first day after the shot but am back to my happy self now! I have to go back for my 2nd and 3rd injections around 4/23.

Foster mommy says that I am a good girl and a sweetheart - awww. I am a good girl riding in the car, enjoying looking out the window, and have also been good at the vet. I have new toys and especially like my Nylabone chew toy. I even got my own special package in the mail!

I like my new princess name, Elsa. I hear that I am going to be treated like a princess from now on, and I like the sound of that!

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and ask for Elsa!
