Little Virginia was born March 08 of 2015, so will be only 6 months old in September!  Described by her foster as 'very active and always looking to play', she's the last puppy available from a litter of 6!  Virginia's rescued momma (Simona) who is ALSO needing to find a permanent home, and you can see Simona's photos and bio on www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt!

She's now old enough to have passed up much of the 'puppy antics' that make living with a puppy a mixed blessing! She's proven her sweet nature, and is now ready for a forever home.

Momma is guessed to be a 'cattle dog / retriever mix'.  Daddy was a rollin' stone! But Virginia's all sweetheart!

If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $225.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

'Virginia is a participant in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.'

About DFW Rescue Me

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dogs can be met at our adoptions events, at their foster homes, or the boarding facility where they are staying. They can also be met during the home visit.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee for dogs is $250. We required an adoption application and check both vet references and pet deposits / breed restrictions if they apply. We also do a home check prior to all adoptions.
