Arlo was dropped off at a place that took him in and gave him food, shelter, and most of all LOVE! He has gained enough weight at this time to get vetted and start looking for his forever home. He is believed to be a Rottie mix but not sure what else is in his genes. He weighs in at 104 pounds! He gets along great with other dogs and doesn't realized how big of a boy he is. He would need to be watched around little kids as he wants to love on you but doesn't realize he is so big. Believed to be about 2 years old but still has that playfulness in him. Let this big boy of love make you smile and warm your heart. He has learned to sit for treats and is kennel-trained. He has completed his treatment for heartworms and is going to be fostered by one of CPR's foster moms in CT. He will be on heartworm prevention and is ready to find his forever family!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT Friday, May 29th from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, May 30th CPR will be with North Shore again at Petsense in Westbrook, CT from 11am-3pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center on Sunday, May 31st from 10:30am-1:30pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can APPLY while you are there, but the APPLICATION will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find YOUR forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and will be on heartworm preventative after he finishes his heartworm treatment. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
