We think Leno is a Bo-Jack (Boston Terrier/Jack Russell mix) with maybe a little Beagle in him because his bark doesn’t match his body! He was originally surrendered to a kill shelter (we were told his owner died), was rescued and brought to NJ. He's the sweetest little thing who loves toys, burrowing and being in your lap. He's about 5 years old & weighs 35 pounds.
Leno is the happiest dog in the world. If you scratch him just right, he dances. If he finds the right pile of leaves to sniff, he celebrates. If he gets his favorite treats he sits and just wiggles. He graduated from K9 Obedience Class. He is still attending classes at dogtrainingforhumans.com. The teacher often uses Leno to help anxious dogs. He is very obedient. He has some special needs for his forever home. He is good with dogs, but no cats. He needs a quiet and calm home with a settled in couple or single person and would do best in a home without kids. He will need to continue classes and his handler will go with you Leno loves to walk and his high energy easily settles down to a nice snuggle.
If you think that Leno is a good match for you, please fill out an adoption application & be sure to mention his name - LENO!
