My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chico, the little man! Chico is a 13 year old male, small terrier who found himself at a high kill shelter when his owner dumped him there along with his 2 larger friends. He was long haired, matted and covered in ticks. It is unclear what kind of a life he had but he was clearly not a priority for his owner. Once his fur was cut in order to get rid of his tick problem, his skin was in need of treatment. His teeth need to be cleaned and he has never been neutered! Poor guy. Love A Mutt decided he needed a chance at a healthy and happy chance for a good and loving retirement. Chico is very friendly and his tail wags at everyone. He is in a foster home with 2 large dogs and really has very little interest in causing any ruckus. He loves to go for walks and when playing in the yard, has no interest in digging or trying to escape. He is active for his age and still loves to go on adventures! He loves to ride in the car and is happy to meet anyone...including the vet. He is a sweet little guy who needs a break to be able to live out his life in comfort and with love. Won't you be his new forever?

Chico's adoption donation is $100 to help with his vetting and care. Love A Mutt Pet Rescue is a 501c3 public charity and all monies go to cover vetting expenses and help other dogs in need.

Thanks for considering a rescue pup!
