Wilma's Story...
Hi there! My name is Wilma! Don’t you think I’m a very cute girl? I am very playful and my favorite toy is a cat teaser with a very long feather on it! I love to chase it and grab it and put it in my mouth! My foster mom will dangle it in front of me and I pounce on it. I may even roll around with it! I like being petted and I can really purr when my foster mom pets me but I am very shy and may act nervous. I am too unsure to go to her looking for attention so I wait for her to come to me.

I was trapped in a backyard with my 2 siblings and the woman who trapped me brought me to my foster mom where I live with lots of other kittens and I love playing and cuddling with them. My foster mom will pick me up and put me in her lap but I am really nervous when she does that and I may jump up and run off. I have gotten more confidant since I went to my foster mom but I still need patience. I was born about October, 2014.

Wilma is spayed, litterbox trained, has received age-appropriate vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
