Felicia's Story...
Felicia is a beautiful Oriental/Calico Mix cat. She was brought to an animal shelter as a stray at the same time as another cat, which we think is her sister since they both have gorgeous blue eyes! She is a friendly girl that loves attention! Felicia would be fine as a single cat, but she would love to be adopted with her sister if you have room for two amazing cats! Check out our Pick-A-Pair page to see if she is still available.

You can meet Felicia at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

Felicia’s estimated date of birth is 3/30/13, and her adoption fee of $125 includes her vet exam, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felicia, a Mt. Prospect Oriental cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Oriental for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Oriental cat from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Oriental breeders who help with Oriental rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
