My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie is a very special little girl. She’s 10 whole pounds of absolutely just as cute as she can be!

She had rough start. She was kept caged most of her life – when she was out of the cage she was just yelled at and thrown back in the cage. She was never taught anything or allowed to experience anything so everything is brand new.

Minnie is the best of both worlds… a world class cuddle-bug and the very meaning of “girls just want to have fun”.

Minnie is not what I call a “morning dog”. She is slow to wake up, but when she does wake up she’s UP and ready for adventure. She is a busy little bee – buzzing here and there and everywhere. She’s certainly making up for lost time – wants to see and smell everything, roll in the stinkiest thing she can find, chase bugs, hang out in the sun, go for walks and squeak her toy. She loves the car and would be happy to go everywhere with you. She’d be a really good candidate for agility. Minnie is really turning into a silly little thing!

When evening rolls around, she’s ready for some serious couch time. Happily snoozing while pressed up against you or (even better) on your lap. On the computer? She’s at your feet. The minute you lay down to go to sleep, she’s under the covers. Yes, she has discovered “under the covers” and is very pleased thank you very much!

Whatever she’s doing, she wants to do it with you. I don’t think she would be happy being left home alone all day every day. She really needs another animal around or somebody who is home a lot – even working from home.

She so desperately wants somebody to love her – Will you be that special person?
