Classy Sassy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Classy Sassy's Story...
Sassy was dropped off at the Downey Shelter by her owners when she was very pregnant with her puppies. She was quite frightened being at the shelter...and naturally didn't understand her sudden change of environment. Shelter Animal Control Officers did not recognize the stress Sassy was going through, and assumed she might be agressive. They made plans to euthanize her- along with all of the puppies she was carrying.

Sparky and the Gang rescued her just in time, and her foster family says she is no longer depressed. She gave birth to 5 darling puppies, and was a terrific mother to them. Now that her puppies have all been adopted, it's time for her to find a place she can call 'Home' and begin her new life.

Sassy is between one and two years old. She has a nice figure and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a little shy when she first meets you, but once she's checked you out...she's quite confident and ready to be your best buddy. Sassy is potty trained, excellent with children and other dogs...but we don't know how she feels about cats! She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys getting a little exercise. We know you'll think she's very sweet.

If you'd like to meet Sassy in person, please email us for more information!

Our Adoption fee is $300 and it includes current vaccinations, spay/neuter, and micro-chip placement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Classy Sassy, a Long Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
