Ellie Mae has the sweetest personality! She was found in the woods in the North Georgia Mountains so, she's a bit nervous of her surroundings and loud sounds at first, but once she's settled in she is completely comfortable and has a heart of gold. Her current foster home has a young child, age 4, and her absolute favorite thing to do is follow around the little girl to see what she is up to and even goes and checks-up on her while she's sleeping to make sure she's okay. Ellie Mae is very gentle, loves affection, and has a super waggy tail! This girl loves to play "chase" and will let you chase her in circles for hours and vice versa. Not only is she playful, but she is a great companion dog as well. Ellie Mae is also crate trained and great with other dogs. In her foster home she is working on potty training, leash training, and simple commands but, she is incredibly smart and catching on very quickly!
Ellie Mae is a female/sp Treeing Walker Coonhound born Spring 2014.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
