My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Bosley and I am a very young birdie who is a tad bit nervous of new people as I am not used to human interaction. As you can see, I am a Timneh African Grey parrot and I used to pluck, but have since been allowing some of my feathers to regrow since coming in to Florida Parrot Rescue. I am learning to step up and to trust humans, but I will need a very patient and loving parront. I am also transitioning to a healthy diet which includes pellets, chop, fresh vegetables, some fresh fruits, and healthy nuts. The FPR vet said my feet have either been previously injured or I may have been born with a deformity, but I still do a great job of balancing on perches as long as they are the right kind (don’t worry, FPR will tell you which ones if you adopt me!). I came into rescue with a very small cage, but thanks to a recent donation, I now have a nice new cage which is appropriate for my size! Now I just need to deck it out with toys!
