Harvey is easily one of the most well-rounded dogs we've ever met in rescue. He is a charming gentleman who greets everyone politely with a wagging tail. Kids, adults, dogs, cats...he loves everyone! He is very gentle with children, plays with dogs who want to play and respects the ones who want their space. He gives a half-hearted bark/chase to the cats sometimes but all in good fun! Harvey has been very well loved and it shows in his incredible temperament and friendliness. He was reluctantly surrendered the rescue when his loving owner went into a nursing home and it would mean the world to her if his adopter wouldn't mind sending updates. He is reliably housetrained, used to being left loose for the workday and does well, and minds his manners in the house like the true gentleman he is. He puts some of our personal dogs to shame with his manners! He is very patient with everyone, enjoys snuggles, and is happiest politely following you from room to room making sure you know he is there and ready for whatever you want to do next. Harvey loves walks and walks politely on the leash but is very laid back in the house and content to relax. He is an outstanding dog! The love and training he has had throughout his life shows and whoever gets to enjoy his retirement years with him will be so lucky.
