found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
His smile and great, happy personality quickly made him a staff favorite at his shelter in North Carolina, where he was brought in as a stray. Because he was a stray, we’re not sure of his breed or age, but he’s a young, friendly boy, and we’re happy to have been able to bring him up for a new life in New England.
He is becoming less and less timid as he adjusts, and he loves to sit on his fosters’ laps (though he’s too big to fit!). He loves exploring outside and being around people, and he has great manners on his leash. He remained the perfect gentleman even when a pair of toddlers led him around the house on a leash, even occasionally pulling at it, each wanting Rizzo for their own. We love Rizzo!
His fosters also report that he has done quite well with their cats, puppy, and dogs. He is curious about cats, but doesn’t chase when they run off, refusing his proposal to play. He plays well with their female and male dogs, though he was unsure of one male he’s met since he’s been here. Since he’s only been hesitant with one dog out of the many he’s met, he doesn’t need to be the only dog in the household, but as always, a meeting would be in order with any potential family’s existing dogs.
He’s not food motivated, and though he is getting more and more curious about treats, his favorite treats of all are ice cubes. He comes running when he hears someone getting some and waits patiently for one of his own. What a sweetheart! Please email us if you’re interested in meeting this amazing boy!
