My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetie Pie is just as her name indicates - a very sweet girl. She was found in a big city shelter where she ended up after being picked up as a stray. The shelter volunteers named her Sweetie Pie. She is a pretty girl, definitely a lab mix with a little hound mixed in. Just look at those long silky ears. She is about 5 years old and is a tall slender 61 lbs. Sweetie Pie loves everyone and she is a happy busy girl. Her tail wags a mile a minute when she sees you coming. She gets excited and does jump up to greet you. That is something she is working very hard at - not jumping up. Sweetie Pie gets along with all her canine friends and loves to play in the yard. She would be considered medium energy. When she comes in the house she settles down nicely with a chew bone. Sweetie Pie is a love and thrives on hugs from her people. She would do best with older children because her enthusiasm might be to much for the very little ones. Sweetie Pie would make a great running partner, hiking buddy or long walks in the park companion. She has been spayed, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also house trained and crate trained.
