Gypsy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Gypsy's Story...

Gypsy is a senior dog with a plush coat and pretty white markings on her paws and chest. When her owner passed away, a neighbor brought her to Safe Haven. Gypsy is housetrained. We don’t know if she is good with kids or cats. She came to us with a long-time canine companion but did not get along with her at Safe Haven so they were separated. In time, we will find out how she relates to other dogs at the sanctuary.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Las Cruces Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
